why did we switch our packaging?

this is a great question. we loved the packaging we had with the plastic clamshells; it was the original marsden&bailey design and we adored the elegant simplicity. but what we didn't adore was knowing the impact these plastics have on the environment and how could we claim to care about our home, your home, if we didn't do all we could to protect the one we all share?

our first change has been to switch to glassine bags. they are biodegradable, recyclable, can be composted and have a host of positive measures in their creation. in choosing this sustainable option, it feels good to know we are helping to protect the beauty around us and keeping needless plastics out of our countryside and coastlines.
